Blue Squares
We lay there and looked up at the night sky and she told me about stars called blue squares and red swirls and I told her I'd never heard of them. Of course not, she said, the really important stuff they never tell you. You have to imagine it on your own. Item #SPP1
Center On Wheels
I spent a long time trying to find my center until I looked closely one night and found it had wheels and moved easily in the slightest breeze, so now I spend less time sitting and more time sailing. Item #SPP2
Believing My Father
I used to believe my father about everything but then I had children myself and now I see how much stuff you make up just to keep yourself from going crazy. Item #SPP3
BitterSweet
She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful and life was so short. Item #SPP4
Chihuahua
I remember once I went to my great-grandmother's house. It was a big white house & it always smelled like slightly burned toast & raspberry jam. She had a picture of Jesus on the wall in her living room. She told me his eyes would follow you around when you walked. I told a friend about it a while ago. He nodded & said he used to have a Chihuahua that did the same thing. Item #SPP5
Dancing Mailman
Our mailman was a dance teacher at night & I would watch him sometimes to see if he would deliver mail differently than the others. I expected to see him leap over bushes with his toes pointing like arrows, but all he ever did was walk. Item #SPP6
His Laughter
The first time his laughter unfurled its wings in the wind, we knew the world would never be the same. Item #SPP7
Laughter and Noise
There are lives I can imagine without children but none of them have the same laughter and noise. Item #SPP8
Bones of Light
I remember we sat in the swing on the front porch & as the dusk came on us like a song, dark throated & sweet, he told me about the beginning when we had bones of light & hair that burned like the sun & I asked what happened then? & I felt him floating there in the soft dark & finally he said we forgot & I said I never would, but sometimes I do & I understand now why he puts his arm around me & said nothing more. $ 385. Item #SPS1
More Than a Princess
.Are you a princess? I said. And she said I'm much more than a princess but you don't have a name for it yet here on earth. $230. Item #SPS2
Presence of Mind
Most of the stuff I say is true because I saw it in a dream & I don't have the presence of mind to make up lies when I'm asleep. $290. Item #SPS3
SinBox(three stories) 1.) I see stuff like this a lot in my dreams, so I decided it should at least be doing something useful while I figure out what it means. 2.) I've tried to keep my sins organized over the years. That way I can correct it quickly if I find I'm missing out on something good. 3.]This box could probably put a curse on someone who believed in that stuff, like a burglar maybe. Personally, I don't believe in curses, but I don't think I'd take anything from a box that looked like this either just to be safe. $800.00 Item #SPS4
Ten Commandments
I asked her why she never told us about the Ten Commandments & she said she wasn't ever that good with numbers so she loved everything as best she could & I remember thinking who needs all those rules anyway with a mother like her around. $425. Item #SPS5
